Mother Nature has so generously endowed the islands with the coconut palm, gourd, bamboo, the breadfruit tree, and others, and these, together with fish skin and shells, are lovingly transformed by hand into decorative articles of outstanding quality and design. Extraordinary bowls, urns, sculptures, boats, lamps, animals and masks.In San Andres Island Marta and Pietro work together harmoniously in their studio/home combining their experience, creativity and imagination, perfecting techniques to give life and expression to these original pieces which are a refreshing combination of delicacy, style and natural beauty – a fervent tribute to Mother Nature....There is a permanent display of these unique creations in Island Design..
